Glam it up with Martinis

$5 martinis all day. And these are the strongest martinis I've ever had. I'm talking about my newest place for Los Angeles deals - The Glendon Bar and Kitchen in Westwood. They have five different types of martinis and these are the strongest martinis I've ever ordered at a restaurant. More on the Los Angeles deals at this restaurant - the apple cobbler. OMG. I almost died it was so good. Also I recommend the calamari with the roasted pepper aioli and the garlic fries are pretty good. This is the place to hit up if Palomino's is too crowded and Napa Valley is feeling a little old. Plus, they have Shocktop here, which is a Los Angeles deal all in itself.

Feeling Good with PhysioFit

I'm really not doing a good job with this whole diet and exercise thing. In fact, I haven't really done anything in the last two weeks. I feel like I need a jumpstart, especially with a Vegas trip planned and beach season just around the corner. I heard Pilates gets you in shape really fast and so I found some Los Angeles deals on it, including two private or partner Pilates sessions at PhysioFit. They have locations at Valley Village and Beverly Hills. I'm down for these Los Angeles deals, because it's a personalized workout, tailored to my specific needs and I don't have to worry about injuring myself in trying this new workout. They say that Pilates can make you stand straighter, tone muscle and slim you down. I'm counting on all three for sure. Oh and the Los Angeles deal that I'm trying out is the one on SocialBuy.com right now, for two private (or partner) lessons for just $85 (a $170 value.)

Boyfriend Makeover

If you're like me, you sometimes look at your beloved boyfriend and think to yourself, "why on earth is he wearing that hideous rag?" At which point you become obsessed with tweaking his style. Now SocialBuy.com is making it that much easier for you with their Los Angeles deals. Right now, they are offering Los Angeles deals a Five Four at the Westfield Mall at Culver City or Century City, where you get $50 worth of clothing and accessories for just $25. Who are the hot stars who shop there? Don Cheadle, Gerard Butler and Jay Z. Jesus, if my bf started to look like any of them, I would consider my money well spent. They also have women's clothing, though my wardrobe is in much better shape for spring than the BF's. Check out the Los Angeles deals at SocialBuy.com

The So-LA Farmers' Market

I've always loved going to the Farmers' Market and getting fresh, local produce and products. I'm including the Hampshire Farmers' Market into my list of Los Angeles deals because of the unqiue LA experience you get. The market is open on Thursdays from 5 to 9 pm and has a beautiful view of the Los Angeles skyline. You can shop for cool products like aged balsamic vinegar, honey and there are also great snacks and meals to purchase, like gelato and duck tacos. Pretty cool right? The market is located at 1999 N. Sycamore Ave at Franklin in Hollywood. Not only do you get Los Angeles deals on crazy cool products, but the whole experience is just so LA and would be perfect for a date night. It's just a posh and unique way to see what LA has to offer.

Stylin' Like Celebs

When living in Los Angeles, you have to keep up with Los Angeles style and the most cost-effective way to do this is track Los Angeles deals. So yay for me and for you reading my blog. This Sunday there is an A-list sample sale in North Hollywood at 6019 Simpson Ave (323-841-3000.) The best part of these Los Angeles deals is the large inventory of new and preowned designer clothing, shoes and accessorires fr 50-75% off the the the retail price. With brands ranging from Chanel to Elizabeth and James, I'm debating just driving to North Hollywood right now and sleeping outside the place till it opens. These Los Angeles deals are just too miss! Not to mention that I definitely need the help in sprucing up my wardrobe!

Flex that Money-Saving Muscle with Pilates

Not going to lie, I never really got on the New Year’s resolutions bandwagon. Thus, I have gained weight. Now, with my new Los Angeles deals, it’s time to fix that. I just bought a voucher from SocialBuy.com for $85 for 2 Private or Partner Pilates Sessions at PhysioFit Pilates, which has a $170 value. It’s personalized pilates and pilates is basically the gift from God for getting fit. I did it a lot in college and it really challenged my body and I saw results really fast. Plus, like yoga and other fitness exercises, it can fix your slumping back, help your coordination and ease stress. And I am very stressed. Los Angeles deals like this are great, because it not only saves you money on services, but also motivates you to get up off the couch. I need like ten more Los Angeles deals just like this.

Pac 10 Basketball Tickets at the Staples Center!

I'm not a huge sports fan, but sometimes Los Angeles deals come around that I just can't turn away from, like SocialBuy's new deal for tickets for the PAC-10 March Madness games at the Staples Center. For only $46 (which is almost half off the normal price) you can get premier seating (200 level) tickets for the Men's basketball tournament. As part of these Los Angeles deals, you can apply your voucher to any one of the three choices, which are the following:

Choice A: March 10 at 8pm: First round, 1 game – Seed 8 Oregon vs. Seed 9 Washington State

Choice B: March 11 at noon: Quarterfinals, 2 games – Seed 4 Arizona vs. Seed 5 UCLA & Seed 1 Cal vs. Winner of Seed 8 and 9

Choice C: March 11 at 6pm: Quarterfinals, 2 games – Seed 3 Washington vs. Seed 6 Oregon State & Seed 2 Arizona State vs. Seed 7 Stanford
March Madness

But if you're like me, and want to see all the games, just buy three vouchers from this Los Angeles deals website and see all the basketball your little heart desires.

Quick Like A Tiger

While searching for Los Angeles deals on food, I found SocialBuy.com and right now they are offering a deal at White Tiger Kung Fu on Westwood and it looks like so much fun. It's $23 for 1 month of cardio kung fu self-defense classes which is workout that apparently burns so many calories! Just the kind of Los Angeles deals I should be looking at after partaking in such a caloric lifestyle. Plus there is the added bonus of self-defense and I was looking up reviews of White Tiger and apparently it's a really friendly place and they adjust to your needs and the instructors are really talented. It's the kind of the thing I need before summer hits! Go check out the Los Angeles deals on SocialBuy and then go work out! You'll thank me later!

Super Retro Birthday Party Coming Up!

So my birthday is coming up soon, so of course, I am going to start looking up Los Angeles deals and I stumbled on a whole bunch of great Los Angeles deals on SocialBuy.com. They had ones for a Happy Hour at East and for cardio classes at White Tiger Kung Fu, and they are also offering this amazing package for bowling at Jillian's Hi-Life Lanes in Hollywood ($14 for 3 Games of Bowling & 3 Pairs of Shoe Rentals.) OMG, how cute would it be to have a retro-glam birthday party for grown-ups at this place - specialty drinks, billiards, video games, karaoke, bowling. It's like a child's playground for grown-ups. I bought one voucher and I'm going to get my friends get in on these Los Angeles deals, and I'm going to have a blast from the past! Nothing like feeling younger as the years go by, and it's made even better with Los Angeles deals.

Legit Yet Smaller Gym in Santa Monica

I wanted to find a new gym recently, one that was clean and also offered good yoga classes as well. I didn't want a large, impersonal gym, but one that felt more intimate and less competitive. I found Trifit Club and Studio on Colorado in Santa Monica, and I have to say that I found wonderful Los Angeles deals there. I joined because they have a deal where its only $20.10 to join the gym, plus, it is really easy to end your membership, which I don't think I will, because I fell in love with place. They have a variety of classes, in addition to yoga, including spinning and swimming. It's everything that you want in your gym and you can get super cheap Los Angeles deals every day when you take advantage of all these great programs that TriFit offers.

Mini-Vacation Here I Come!

Winter doesn't really work for me. I think it's the short days, hard work, and crazy weather. I get a craving to hit the slopes and ski at Mt. Baldy. While looking for Los Angeles deals on cheap Mt. Baldy lift tickets, I came across one on SocialBuy.com: $32 for 1 Weekday Lift Ticket from Mt. Baldy Ski Lifts, which is $64 value. I think I am going to take next Friday off from work and go up there with a friend and just relax for the day. When it gets to the point where you groan when your alarm goes off and not even your coffee (a.k.a. cup of optimism) can make you smile, then you know you have a problem. That's where Los Angeles deals come in and you can take a little break from the grindstone and feel rejuvenated after your vacation to the mountains and snow, instead of stressed. Why stress about your mini-vacation when you can take advantage of Los Angeles deals?

Music Mania: Open Mic Nights

Los Angeles is a mecca of music, art and food. Speaking of Los Angeles deals, I have found that the best way to experience the first one and to discover amazing new music is to attend open mic nights. Some of my favorites include Tuesday Night Cafe Project in Downtown, I also like the Da Poetry Lounge for slam poetry in West Hollywood, and Eagle Rock Underground in Eagle Rock. This is one of those Los Angeles deals that you really can't put a price on because of the unique experience you will have when you can engage with undiscovered talent. It's also one of those Los Angeles deals that is so cheap, it's like $5 or under or even free. A glass of wine, some fresh music and good company? I can die happy.

Patron in my Cup!

If you are looking for an amazing Happy Hour/Los Angeles deals, then hit up Cabo Cantina for sure. They have restaurants in Santa Monica and other places in LA. Granted, I'm a sucker for all margaritas, but at you can get the mega-margarita with Patron for only $18. It's also a pretty chill restaurant with scrumptious Mexican food and the general ambiance is really fun and casual. I love going after work, because this place pumps me up and gives me a lot of energy, which is just added benefit to one of my favorite Los Angeles deals. And it's wonderful groups, so bring the co-workers and enjoy great the Los Angeles deals! Also a winning combination is the super-cute staff and the huge portions. Hmm... I kind of want to go to Cabo Cantina right now; it is one of those great Los Angeles deals!

Gorgeous Getty Trip is in Order

Even though I live right next to the Getty Center, I forget that it is one of the best Los Angeles deals. I mean - it's free! It is the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday or to bring your visiting family. The artwork is obviously amazing, especially the new Rembrandt exhibit. My favorite part, though, is the spectacular gardens and the panoramic view of LA from the terrace. You can't get any better Los Angeles deals than the Getty Center. It seems to be so undervalued and that makes me sad, since it's one of the best places in LA. I mean forget about it too, but now I want to take advantage of these Los Angeles deals! And if I am, then you should too!

Fresh Cut Flowers without the Hassle

One day in the far future, I will have a rose garden and bring in fragrant old-fashioned flowers in every day. Until then, there are always Los Angeles deals. I just bought a voucher from Devynn's Garden for $50 worth of flowers for $25 on socialbuy.com. I can't wait to bring home a gorgeous vase for my entryway and fill the house with that glorious scent. It's just such an amazing and uplifting way to take advantage of Los Angeles deals. Not to mention that if you send flowers to someone with these Los Angeles deals, you literally make their year. At Least You Can Get a Good Deal...

Instead of wallowing in the misery that I will not have a Valentine this year, I am going to maximize on the Los Angeles deals for Valentine's Day. In fact, I am going to send myself a gift for Valentine's Day (Shh... Don't tell anyone!) I found some Los Angeles deals on SocialBuy.com and this week, I can pay $25 for $50 worth of gifts and baskets from Bountiful Baskets by Jean. Her Valentine's Day basket is exactly what I need for a night in: wine, chocolates, cookies, etc. This is one of Los Angeles deals I can splurge on (both financially and calorically) - meaning it is going to be a great night! I guess if you had a significant other, you could send them a basket too. I'm sure they would love these Los Angeles deals.

On the bright side, at least I can send Valentines...

And not just receive them. As usual, I'm so busy wallowing in self-pity around Valentine's Day that I forget about everyone else. Including my mom. And her birthday. Whoops. Thank God for Los Angeles deals. I found one on SocialBuy.com for $120 flower arrangement for $60. Sweet. I can send my mom a gorgeous bouquet and relieve myself of my extreme guilt with this Los Angeles deal. And for the rest of you who aren't wallowing, you should look into these Los Angeles deals for your significant other. See? I'm not bitter about Valentine's Day; I'm giving you gift advice.

Amazing LA Deals - DineLA

Speaking of amazing Los Angeles deals, this is the last week of DineLA and I'm sad. There are so many amazing restaurants in LA and I wish DineLA was year-round instead of just couple weeks a year. I didn't manage to fit in the places that I really wanted to go this year and feel like I didn't take advantage of the cool Los Angeles deals. I still need to go to BOA steakhouse and Spago among others, although I did try Katsuya and Sweet Love Hangover. On the bright side, I'm glad they do this every year - yay for repeat Los Angeles deals.

Los Angeles Deals - Sprinkles Cupcakes

Sometimes the week seems so long, I can barely stand it. By Friday afternoon, all I can think about is finding a Los Angeles deal and going out and trying something new. One of Socialbuy's Los Angeles deals this week is on Sprinkles cupcakes. The bakery is just around the corner from work and that vanilla cupcake makes my day seem so much better… until I inhale it and crave another one for after dinner. When my friend sent me a link to Socialbuy.com’s voucher for $10 worth of cupcakes for $5, that Los Angeles deal was my pick-me-up. So then I just bought two cupcakes. One for now and one for later.

Eff gas prices.

I just paid $80 to fill up my gas tank! $80! That's why I have been trying to search for Los Angeles deals to save money and not just on those daily expenses, like gas and groceries, but also on stuff I like to do for fun. Going to get my nails done or having a movie night with my girlfriends is something I love to do and I know that I can find Los Angeles deals on those leisure activities too! I shouldn't have to nix all those fun things; instead, I can just save money when I do them. Once I find those Los Angeles deals, I don't have to feel guilty about spending money on things that make me feel good. A girl has got to have a little fun too!
